FAQ

Q1. Having trouble paying by creditcard.
A1. If you cant seem to pay by creditcard online select 'pay by phone' and someone will call you and take your creditcard details over the phone.

Q2. How can I tell if my photos are available.
A2. On the main page of the webite is a listing of the latest date we currently have photos for, photos are listed under the DATE TAKEN not the date published. If the date your photos were taken is not yet available you can use the datewatch feature to notify you when they have been uploaded for you to view.

Q3. How do I order an old photo.
A3. Fill in the 'Old photo request' form located under the help menu of the website.

Q4. I dont have internet access, how can I order a photo.
A4. Call Canlab on (02)62476230 to make sure images from the date of photography are available, if so, you can view and order images in the Canlab Store located on the corner of Akuna St and City Walk, Civic, Canberra City.

Q5. What resolution are the emailed files.
A5. It generally varies due to various photographers having different equipment but the average file size is about 5 megapixel (2000px long).

Q6. My photo is not showing in the date it was published in the paper.
A6. Photos are listed under the date they were taken, you should be able to find them there.

Q7. My photo is not showing in the date it was taken.
A7. Check below the photo to see if there is a 'photography by (NAME)' listed, if there is not then the Canberra Times probably didn't take the photograph published therefore it cannot be sold by The Canberra Times.

Q8. My photo is not showing in the date it was taken but there is a photo credit listed underneath it.
A8. Even though photographs may be published in the Canberra Times or Chronicle, they may have been supplied by a third party(e.g AAP, Getty Images etc) and you will have to refer your photo request to the third party listed.
